Kevin is a pharmacy operations expert with over 30 years of experience including retail & specialty pharmacy implementations, independent pharmacy ownership, district pharmacy management for a major chain, health system pharmacy leadership, legislative advocacy, ambulatory care practice, and PBM operations. Most recently Kevin served as Director of Pharmacy for Clinical Operations for a technology company focusing on value-based pharmacy products.
Kevin is a people leader with proven results in change management, employee engagement, and cultures of safety. Kevin brings strong financial knowledge to accurately project department and proforma budgets as well as displaying the right financial performance data that department leaders can manage to. Compliance expertise can be provided for policy and procedure processes to meet both regulatory and accreditation requirements. Kevin has extensive regulatory and legislative advocacy experience and can assist with advocacy strategies and correspondence.
Additional experience:
· Built a URAC accredited specialty pharmacy for a major NW health system.
· Designed and stood up new pharmacies.
· Designed, contracted, and implemented new workflows in existing pharmacies.
· Leveraged 340B and specialty pharmacy to place ambulatory pharmacists in health system specialty practices.
· Transformed clinic pharmacies to Medicare five-star pharmacies and integrated ambulatory care practices in family practice and internal medicine.
· Evaluated RFPs for wholesaler contracts and managed supplier relationships.
· Served 10 years on the Board of Directors for the Oregon State Pharmacy Association, including 3 years as President.
