With 25 years of experience as a healthcare leader focused on growth, team building, operations, and strategy, Josh has been integral to the success of multiple organizations. Having held significant leadership positions in retail pharmacy, long term care, and hospital/health system environments, Josh has a breadth of experience rare in the industry.
He is an out of the box thinker and creative problem solver, personally invested in each client and always eager to roll up his sleeves while maintaining focus on the big picture.
Josh is a 340B and pharmacy operations expert with numerous successful strategy implementations as an employed health system leader and as an independent consultant. A graduate of The University of Iowa College of Pharmacy, his experience includes leadership of one of the largest 340B programs on the west coast.
Prior to founding Nelco Advisory, Josh was Chief Pharmacy Officer and VP of Business Development at a regional health system in Oregon where he implemented numerous system pharmacy strategies resulting in multi-million dollar savings to the organization and significant population health outcomes.
